Mar 29, 2018 It'll open a new page where some information is shown related to Dish TV STB. Now press Red button on your remote to enter into STB Setup screen. It'll open 'Installation Main Menu' screen where you'll find various menus such as Home frequency, LNB Setup, Forced software upgrade, Restore factory settings, etc.

Hello,
My dishtv was working fine till today morning. Now it doesnt turn on at all, even sometime when it does (after plugging out the power cable and plugging in back) nothing comes up in the screen. i should also say that couple of time it said error in force upgrade! then it showed only three options 'ok' 'cancel' and 'exit'. Now that i m trying ot switch on again nothing is coming on the screen. i believe lately there was some issue with this??
help needed to solve this. please!

STB and smart stick faultyWrong model of STB delivered on 16th April 2019. After multiple follow up correct one was delivered with faulty smart stick on 24th April 2019. Smart stick never worked. They updated the software online on 3rd May 2019 and since then the STB is in reboot loop. Technician who come and not trained for software update and then software engineer cannot help with any hardware issues. The nodal officer doesn't respond to email sent. Useless talking to the toll free number, all history has to repeated every time you call. They don't have any updates. They take online bookings when the STB is not in stock. Now since 3rd May 2019 the services are down with no update or no feedback. RMN 02535009052. Request which is pending 491090484. They don't have any ETA when the new STB will be available if they don't have it they don't even provide any temporary replacement. Services are now down for 10 days. If they don't have it for months they will not update you. Pathetic services. Made a mistake subscribing to their service. |
